DAVID MATIĆI CHEECHA feat Central Park Club Band

David & Central Park Club Band performs quite eclectic repertoire composed of exquisite musical works.

When you combine the timeless classics of James Brown or Sinatra with the modern swagger of Bruno Mars or The Weeknd you’ve just experienced the night with David & Central Park Club Band.

David told me that music has always been around him—„from Pop & R&B, to Hip-hop, Soul, Classical, Rock and Jazz. I get new ideas and inspiration from a little bit of every musical style that’s out there.”

Growing up, David was strongly influenced by legendary artists Stevie Wonder, Marvin Gaye, Michael Jackson, and Prince. His own sound has been described as a blend of Pop and R&B, with a little taste of Funk.

Luckily he transmutes his voice easily, and can interpret so many different singers and genders…

The backbone of the band is Nikola Šantek – young, but certainly excellent pianist who graduated at the Music Conservatory in Klagenfurt.

With an impeccable degree of professionalism, an unmistakable collection of experienced talent, and wide repertoire of various styles, David & Central Park Club Band is sure to titillate the senses leaving a long lasting impression and each and every one of you.

David Matići – vocal
Nikola Šantek – keyboards
And guests – bass, saxophone, guitar…
